So, you are the only girl in your group without a boyfriend. Now what?! Or you're the bachelor in your family and are pressured with your mom asking for a grandchild, oh c'mon! Can't just genie appear out of nowhere and ask for a partner? If only life would be that easy, you wouldn't be envy of mushy couples in the park. So what are the wrong reasons to have a partner and just get married?
- Single Life Sucks!
One reason why some men and women get into a relationship is because of loneliness and boredom. If that's the case, what are your friends for? Aside from checking out on where's the cheap shopping sites, they will tell you if you look fat in that dress you're wearing, they will patiently listen to all your rants about the jerk in your office or the traffic that's making you late.
- Everybody Is Tying The Knot
Sometimes, some women drag the next potential guy into a relationship due to pressure form your family and friends. Each one of your girlfriend is engaged and about to get married or your younger sister is getting married by the end of the year and worst of all, you're smug married aunt demands your love life update.
- You Want To Get Even With Your Ex
Getting over a past romance is difficult. That is why some people pretend to be on the rebound too often, but it doesn't help if you're keeping score and your ex seems to be winning. To get back, you want someone's arm that would make your ex green-eyed asap! Clearly, a proof that you're not yet ready for a new commitment as you are not yet over the previous.
If you're looking for someone special who would treat you right, make sure that you are willing to give something in return as well. Before you say "Yes!" to all responsibilities as a partner, assess yourself first, because no matter how much you try to like him or her or work it out it wouldn't be a serious as you hope it would be.
